STORY.

Sera Gearhardt is the troubled mother of Rachel Dawn Amber. After years of struggling with addiction to drugs, she had fought for rights to see her daughter with her ex husband, James Amber. After making an attempt to try and see her regardless of James' opinion on the matter, he hired a thug to drug and deter her from seeing her daughter. Rachel's girlfriend, Chloe Price, made an unsuccessful attempt to save her from being drugged after being sober for a year, but managed to convince Sera to see her daughter regardless and resist the addiction taking over once more.

For a while, Sera had dissappeared from Arcadia Bay. With no real easy way to contact Rachel due to her father, Sera had no way to tell her she was coming back. However...

She has bought a trailer with some of the money James had used to bribe her away from Rachel, and since returning, has started living on the outskirts of Arcadia Bay, uncaring about James' opinion on the matter.

She hopes to become more of an active parental figure to Rachel.
